Coffee Expertise, Family Legacy & Dependable Service

Founded in 2023 and named after Ramon’s daughter, Kate’s Coffee Roasters grew from his desire to turn a lifelong connection to coffee into a meaningful family legacy. His experience spans roasting, sensory evaluation, business ownership, military service, and relationships throughout the coffee industry. Together, these experiences shape a company grounded in knowledge, discipline, and a genuine respect for the people behind every product and purchasing decision.

Today, KCR carries that foundation forward with the business’s first step as a government-focused supplier of Venturi-produced specialty canned cold brew products.

“A Cup on a Mission”

At Kate’s, that mission means using coffee expertise, honest communication, and dependable service to build a family legacy that respects the work that went into the cup and the work ahead.

Coffee Starts With People and Relationships

Ramon’s work in the coffee industry has connected him with growers and coffee professionals across producing regions, including Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. Those relationships have shaped his belief that coffee should be understood not only by its flavor but also by the knowledge, skill, and work of the people behind it.

That perspective guides Kate’s Coffee Roasters’ approach to quality, communication, and product guidance. It also reinforces the importance of being precise about the product origins and producers.

Relationships

Coffee is built through people, shared knowledge, and the trust developed through long-term connections.

Traceability

Understanding where and how coffee is grown, provides important context for evaluating its quality and character.

Story

Every cup of coffee carries the work of the people behind it, and that story is part of what makes each cup worth appreciating.

CURRENT ROLE: Kate’s Coffee Roasters currently supplies eligible government facilities and military installations with Venturi-produced specialty canned cold brew. Ramon’s broader relationships with growers and coffee professionals contribute to his expertise and understanding of coffee, but they are not presented as the documented source of Venturi products unless a direct sourcing relationship is specifically confirmed.

Voices From Coffee-Growing Communities

Coffee growers draw on expertise gained from direct experience with the land, the crop, and the environment that shapes each harvest. With their consent, this section will share brief, firsthand insights from growers Ramon has met through his work in the coffee industry.

Kate’s Coffee Trailer

Something Mobile is Brewing...

The Kate's Coffee Roasters Trailer is under construction as a future mobile extension of the brand. It represents another step in Ramon's long-term vision for KCR: a space where his roasting expertise, commitment to hospitality, and independent ideas for the company can come together in a new way.

More details will be shared as the build progresses, and the trailer approaches launch. For now, the trailer remains in development and is not available for bookings, events, tastings, or product purchases. It is separate from Kate’s current Venturi-produced product line and government procurement pathway.
